Paris Is Gone

THE BRIEF
Create an animated teaser for Paris Is Gone by Radio Free Alice, translating the band’s punk/rock identity and the raw energy of the song into a visual experience.
THE CONTEXT
Radio Free Alice exists within a punk and rock universe where DIY culture, experimentation and imperfection are part of the aesthetic. The challenge was to create something that felt spontaneous and rebellious without becoming visually unreadable.
THE IDEA
I drew inspiration from punk fanzines, DIY album covers and underground concert posters. Collage and scribbles became the main visual language, while a predominantly black-and-white palette was interrupted by flashes of fluorescent green.
THE MAKING
I built the animation through fast cuts, moving collages, animated scribbles, overlays, glitches and distortions. Elements appear, disappear and collide with each other, creating a sense of controlled chaos that follows the rhythm of the song.
THE RESULT
A fast-paced and experimental teaser that translates the energy of Paris Is Gone into movement, combining DIY aesthetics with a strong and contemporary graphic identity.
