WHY LONNY ?
LONNY started with a dog’s name, but it grew into something more. The name also reminds me of the Irish name Lonán, linked to lon, meaning blackbird, with the diminutive giving the idea of a “little blackbird”.

I love the image of a little bird wandering around, collecting interesting things along the way. Scraps, textures, shapes, colours, stories and ideas… and bringing them together to build something new. It feels like a pretty good metaphor for how I work

I’m inspired by folklore, myths, medieval imagery, nature, the ocean, punk, DIY culture, old books, handmade processes and collage. I love mixing the unexpected — something old with something modern, rough with polished, or serious with playful.
